To add text messaging
Open an account with AQL or preferred provider & purchase your message bundle.
From the Tools pull down menu select Options
From the Preferences Tab select Client options as show below:
Enter your preferred text to SMS provider details (in the example above the default for AQL is @text.aql.com)
Finally ensure that you have recorded your clients mobile number under the ‘Phone’ section within the Client Information screen, then simply click into the ‘SMS Text Number’ box. This will the copy the number into this box along with the default SMS provider details.
Ensure that the client has given their permission to receive text reminders from your business, so as to comply with current data protection legislation, if the client is happy to receive text reminders UN-check the “Do not mail” box as shown above.
By populating both the ‘E-mail’ and ‘SMS Text Number’ fields on the Client Information screen your client will receive an e-mail & text reminder for their upcoming appointment.
You can automatically send Text or E-mail reminders when Salon Iris starts, exits or at various times throughout the day, furthermore you can configure Salon Iris to manual send only. As always with Salon Iris you remain in full control.
